Get store credit
Receive 25% of the original list price as credit on each accepted book. Credit is capped at $200, and you must spend it down below $200 before accumulating more. If you already have credit, we stop accepting books for trade on Nov 1 each year so we can catch up on inventory and give people time to use their credit. Credit expires every year on Dec 31, so make sure to use it.
Pick new reads
Browse, ask for recommendations, and use your credit toward the next stack. Pay only the swap fee + 50% of list.
Bring Your Books In
We run a friendly trade-credit shop — bring books in, take new ones home with credit toward the trade.

A friendly heads-up:Even when your books meet all of our trade requirements, there's a small chance we already have plenty of copies of a particular title. If we can't take a book today, please don't take it personally — our shelves change all the time, so you're always welcome to bring it back another time.

Make the most of your trade
Check Condition
Make sure your books are in good readable condition — no water damage, torn pages, or heavy highlighting. The better the condition, the better your credit.
Bring Multiples
Bring what you can comfortably review with us at the counter. Credit is capped at $200, and you must spend it down below $200 before accumulating more.
